Surya Vijay Sethupathi's Phoenix teaser

It is known that Vijay Sethupathi's son, Surya will be making his debut as a lead actor in stunt choreographer, Anal Arasu's debut directorial film titled 'Phoenix'. With the film gearing up for release soon, the makers have released the teaser of the action packed entertainer.
The film is said to be an action sports drama. The over 90 second teaser shows Surya as a professional boxer, who is imprisoned for some reason.The teaser is filled with high-octane action sequences both inside and outside the boxing ring. Actor Sivakarthikeyan took to social media to unveil the teaser and wrote, “Happy to launch the teaser of #Phoenix. Best wishes to hero #SuryaVijaySethupathi and director @ActionAnlarasu master for your debut. Wishing the entire team a huge success.”

The film also has Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Harish Uthaman in important roles with Abi Nakshathra of 'Ayali' fame and Varsha playing the female leads, and 'Kaaka Muttai' fame Vignesh in a supporting role.
It is to be noted that Surya has previously made appearances as a child artist in his father's films 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan' and Sindhubaadh'.
