Actor VijaySethupathi was last seen in the film 'Maharaja', which was released in theaters on June 14. The film is running successfully in theaters, and it has grossed more than Rs 85 crore at the box office. Directed by Nithilan Swaminathan, the movie shows how far a father will go to protect his daughter, and the film, with its story line, has been critically acclaimed by many, and it has now been selected for the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA).

The actor, who has been talking to the media recently at the press meeting after the success of the film, shared in a recent interaction with a national daily that he is rarely a father figure to his children. The actor noted that he calls his daughter 'amma' fondly and his son 'appa' (mother and father), and they are always dominant to him. Vijay Sethupathi revealed that he often talks to his children about his work life and what he does on shoots. He also said that if there was an interesting scene that he shot that day, he would discuss it with them.
Vijay Sethupathi expressed that he always takes suggestions from his children for everything and wouldn't portray himself as a father figure in front of them. He humorously stated that sometimes he is the kid in the family.
Vijay Sethupathi is an acclaimed actor in the Indian film industry. Following 'Maharaja', the actor has quite a few films in the project pipeline, including 'Gandhi Talks', 'Ace', 'Train', and 'Viduthalai 2', which are in different stages of production.
