With the ever growing film industry, the pan Indian projects are rising in numbers and many Tollywood actors are frequently travelling to Mumbai as their shooting schedule for Bollywood movies are often placed there. To name a few - Prabhas, Samantha, Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Devarakonda are often spotted in Mumbai for their work.
Now, in a recent Hindi interview, Bollywood journalist Varinder Chawla called the south stars fake.
While he was questioned about the social media presence of the south stars, the paparazzi mentioned that they appear grounded when compared to other stars, but dissed them that they do not have a down to Earth or humble personality.
The Republic reported that Varinder Chawla called them as people indulged in fakery. He stated that they act only in front of the camera and cited an incident when he attended the promotions for the film, and when he shot a video of Vijay Devarakonda as he entered a hotel, he snapped at the journalists there. He also spoke about the recently circulated video of Jr NTR who lost his cool in front of the photojournalists.
Varinder Chwala also noted that he did not like Mahesh Babu's personality as he often dislikes Bollywood and even said that he does not need Bollywood as they can't afford him. This statement did not sit well with Varinder Chawla.
