'Modern Masters: SS Rajamouli' to premiere on August 2

Director Rajamouli after his multiple blockbusters in Telugu has become the prominent and pride star of India. The international OTT platform Netflix has teamed up with two other productions to make a biographical documentary on the film makers. Titled Modern Masters: SS Rajamouli, the series will be a combination of feature interviews with director Rajamouli, BTS footage of his work, compelling narratives from his experience and this series is said to be out on August 2 on the platform.

The series also has multiple insights from James Cameron, Joe Russo, Karan Johar, Prabhas, Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Rana Daggubati and many more friends and colleagues from the industry of the actor. Sharing the news, the OTT platform said, "Rajamouli is lauded as a master storyteller, perfectionist and international sensation. What drives his remarkable success? This docu-film reveals untold stories and perspectives from his family and collaborators."
SS Rajamouli last directed the blockbuster 'RRR' in 2022 that features Ram Charan and Jr NTR. He also made an appearance in the recently released 'Kalki 2898 AD' directed by Nag Ashwin in a cameo role. His film 'RRR' made history by winning the Golden Globe and got special mentions at the Academy Awards 2023. The director apart from 'RRR' has directed a handful of successful films that include 'Baahubali', 'Yamadonga', 'Magadheera' and 'Eega'. The director never fails to capture the audience with his grand visualisation.
He is now working on an untitled project with Mahesh Babu in the lead role. Tentatively titled 'SSMB29' the pre-production work is underway and it is soon expected to go on grounds.
