After a lengthy absence, The Rock is expected to make his return to SmackDown this week. Reports suggest that the legendary wrestler, often referred to as The Final Boss, will finally grace our screens. Adding to the anticipation is the upcoming Bloodline acknowledgement ceremony. Last week on SmackDown, Jacob Fatu made a spectacular debut that surprised WWE fans worldwide.
It will be intriguing to witness The Rock's response to Jacob's impressive debut. Additionally, The Rock might also address Cody, continuing their ongoing rivalry.
Here's everything you need to know about The Rock's potential return

WWE has officially announced that The Bloodline, led by Solo Sikoa, will host the Bloodline Acknowledgement Ceremony this Friday at Madison Square Garden. Current members Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Jacob Fatu, and Paul Heyman are expected to participate. Meanwhile, @NewsXero on X tweeted, hinting at a potential return of The Rock on this week's SmackDown:
"Don't miss the acknowledgement ceremony on Friday I'm hearing it might be rather electrifying."
While The Rock's appearance has not been confirmed, there's speculation due to his role as an important board member of the TKO Group and the recent passing of Sika Anoa'i, suggesting he might attend the Ten Bell Tribute to honor Sika's legacy.
Earlier this year, The Rock returned for a full-time stint leading up to WrestleMania 40, which became the most successful and memorable in history. Initially hinting at a rivalry with
Roman Reigns upon his comeback, he surprised by joining forces with Roman to take on Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins on the road to WrestleMania. At WrestleMania 40 Night 1, The Rock triumphed in his match, pinning the current Undisputed WWE Champion, and later headlined Night 2 against Cody.
Rumors now suggest that The Rock may hold Roman Reigns responsible for their loss at WrestleMania. Despite the best efforts of The Bloodline to support Roman, they fell short. This setback could refocus their efforts towards asserting dominance within the company.

The upcoming Money in the Bank PLE features Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens squaring off against The Bloodline in a six-man tag team match. Following a brutal assault by Jacob Fatu last week on SmackDown, Orton, Rhodes, and Owens are poised to seek retribution against The Bloodline.
Last week on SmackDown, Paul Heyman received devastating news from Solo Sikoa: Roman Reigns won't be returning to WWE. Whether Solo's source is credible or he's intentionally deceiving Paul remains unclear. Nevertheless, it's certain that Roman Reigns will make his comeback to WWE, it's just a matter of timing.
In the meantime, Sikoa is consolidating power as The Bloodline's new Head of the Table, disregarding rules and recruiting new members seemingly loyal to him rather than Roman. Notably, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and the recent addition Jacob Fatu have joined his ranks. Jacob made an impressive debut last week by decisively defeating Kevin Owens, Randy Orton, and WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.
