Barsatein actor Pankit Thakker on escaping the terror attack in Reasi as he was about to visit Vaishno Devi, says ‘It took me days to come out from the experience’ – Exclusive

Actor Pankit Thakker last seen in the TV show 'Barsatein – Mausam Pyaar Ka,' revealed about escaping the terror attack, which happened in Reasi.
The actor was supposed to start walking towards Mata Vaishno Devi shrine in Katra and meanwhile, he learnt about the situation and returned to his hotel. While he couldn’t complete his Yatra, narrating the entire situation out there he said, “It was horrifying.It took me days to come out from the experience and talk about it. I have seen people in pain and the rush. It was scary. I am deeply saddened and outraged by the recent terror attack in Jammu Reasi. The violence that has been going on in Jammu & Kashmir in past few days is absolutely shameful. It is disheartening to witness innocent lives being lost and the escalating tensions in the region."

He continued, "My heart goes out to all the victims and their families who have been affected by this brutal attack. It is devastating to think that people's lives are being torn apart by such acts of violence. Jammu & Kashmir has always been a land of unparalleled beauty, but these incidents tarnish its reputation and disturb the peace that the region yearns for. Attack in Jammu Reasi is yet another reminder that we must stand united against such acts of cowardice and evil."

He condemned the act of terrorism and said, "I wholeheartedly condemn this act of terrorism and call upon the authorities to take swift and decisive action in bringing the culprits to justice. We need to strengthen our security measures and ensure that such attacks do not recur in the future. The safety and security of our citizens should be our utmost priority. I empathize with the people of Jammu & Kashmir and to all those affected by this terror attack."
