Debina Bonnerjee gets emotional as her younger daughter Divisha goes to school; writes ‘The mumma in me is full of tears to cheers’

Debina Bonnerjee and Gurmeet Choudhary are proud parents as they got their youngest daughter Divisha ready for her first day at play school. Debina shared an emotional moment as her younger daughter, Divisha, embarked on her first day of school.
The actress expressed her feelings through her vlog, "The mumma in me is full of tears to cheers." Debina mentioned that both their girls are now in the same institution.
The initial school session was brief, lasting only 15 minutes, as it was the girls' first experience in a play school environment. However, this duration is expected to increase gradually as they acclimate to the new setting. The transition has been significant for the family, especially since the new school is much farther from their home compared to the previous one. Debina mentioned that the daily commute now takes approximately 45 minutes, adding an extra layer of challenge and adjustment to their routine.

Debina’s emotional response highlights the bittersweet nature of such milestones in a parent's life. She shared, “As Divisha’s first day of school was approaching, I was feeling tensed. Tension as in gush emotions. All the mommies, who are second time moms, you always tend to feel that the younger one is very small. Divisha is little. And I always felt when Lianna would go to school, I would have another one to pamper. With the first child, you are always overwhelmed, because you are navigating for the first time. On Lianna’s first day, I felt very overwhelmed but I also felt I had another baby. And today Divisha is going to school. I remember when I found out I was pregnant with her. I was so happy, I told everyone about it. I didn’t want to hide anything.”
Watching her children grow and take their first steps into the world of education brought a mix of joy and nostalgia.


Debina and Gurmeet embraced parenthood through IVF in April 2022 and they conceived naturally soon after. They welcomed their second baby Divisha in November 2022.
