The second episode of 'Jinny's Kitchen 2', which aired on July 5, saw a significant rise in viewership ratings, driven by the exceptional teamwork and chemistry among the crew. According to Nielsen Korea, the episode achieved an average nationwide rating of 8.1% and a citywide rating of 8.4%, marking a notable increase from the previous week's 6.9%.

The episode unfolded with 'Jinny's Kitchen 2' facing a bustling opening day, welcoming a total of 55 customers organized into 16 teams. Amidst the busy kitchen environment, main chef Choi Woo Sik maintained composure while new intern Go Min Si swiftly demonstrated her adeptness and dedication. Notably, Go Min Si seamlessly assisted across various kitchen tasks, including promptly cooking five pots of rice to meet demand after noticing a shortage.
Following lunch service, Park Seo Joon and Go Min Si went on a shopping trip to replenish supplies, encountering the breathtaking snowy landscapes of Iceland for the first time. Overwhelmed by the scenery, Go Min Si expressed her awe, remarking, "It finally feels like I'm in Iceland", as reported by AllKpop.
During the hectic dinner rush, Choi Woo Sik and Go Min Si collaborated seamlessly to ensure that meals were served promptly and cohesively to each table. As the evening concluded and preparations for the next day began, Choi Woo Sik humorously commented on Go Min Si's dedication, teasing, "Min Si, did you even drink a sip of water today?" Her earnest response brought laughter, with Go Min Si admitting, "I didn't drink any because I was afraid it might make me go to the restroom".
Upon hearing this, Choi Woo Sik dramatically collapsed to the floor, exclaiming, "I lost". Even amidst the good-natured banter, Go Min Si's work ethic and commitment were evident to everyone, including Lee Seo Jin, who affectionately advised her to take a break, exclaiming, "Min Si, stop working! Put your tools down!" Looking ahead, chef Jung Yoo Mi is set to take the helm as the main chef in the upcoming episode of 'Jinny's Kitchen 2' from Iceland.
