Friday saw the return of the #O2SilverClefs, in support of Nordoff and Robbins As a longstanding partner of the UK’s leading music therapy charity, ASM Global was in attendance to celebrate the achievements of world-class artists including Jessie Ware, Young Fathers, Cat Burns, Chaka Khan, Mark Knopfler, and ASM Global Best Group, The 1975. It was a true celebration of the vital work of Nordoff and Robbins, and an opportunity for the collective industry to raise all-important funds to ensure music therapy can be brought to everyone who needs it, all over the UK. We’re delighted to be taking on operations of LX Factory’s two premier existing venue spaces, Fabrica XL and Fabrica L, as well as managing the associated outdoor bar, terrace and gallery spaces, delivering best-in-class food and beverage to visitors, who can soak up unbeatable views of the city. With previous positions at FC Internazionale Milano, running San Siro operations, and as a Venue Director for UEFA’s Champions League operations, Joe has demonstrated exceptional leadership and operational skills. His extensive experience also includes working across 14 different FIFA World Cups in various capacities, showcasing his ability to manage large-scale, high-profile events. In his new role as Vice President of ASM Global Italia, Joe will lead the company’s mission to enhance and expand its footprint in the Italian market. A significant milestone has been reached at the state-of-the-art Kai Tak Youth Sports Ground in the Kai Tak Sports Park - the new and groundbreaking sports facility. The team has now completed the cutting-edge turf installation using "Lay and Play" technology, meeting international standards set by World Rugby and FIFA. This innovation unleashes Hong Kong’s sporting potential to the world. With this major milestone achieved, Kai Tak Sports Park enters its final construction phase, with test events set to begin soon. We're eagerly anticipating the grand opening in 2025!

Exciting News From CGC Event Caterers It has been announced that Stephen Reed joins CGC today, as Managing Director. Stephen comes armed with extensive experience in the industry, and enormous dedication for his craft. Most recently Deputy Head of Catering and Event Delivery at Manchester United, Stephen has also spent much of his career at the Jockey Club, so as racing season gets underway for CGC, there’s no better time for Stephen to join the team and lead the charge. 

Progress at Becketwell Derby Venue As the mobilisation of this new venue continues at pace, we’re pleased to announce the appointment of the venue’s General Manager, Marcus Sheehan Marcus is already part of the ASM Global family and is currently Head of Food and Beverage at first direct arena in Leeds. Marcus has made a significant impact in Leeds, and we are thrilled to see him bring his extensive experience to Derby. It’s an exciting time as the new venue gets closer to opening its doors, and in his new role Marcus will build and lead the team, with the shared goal of delivering a best-in-class venue for clients, customers, and visitors.
