This week we took to Bloomsbury Square Gardens for week 2 of CDA’s Summer Party … and what a week for it! ☀ Thank you to London Borough of Camden, Camden Giving, The Boutique Workplace Company, Coach Gyms, Sandbox VR, 1Rebel, Pop Up Painting, The Bloomsbury, Lucky Voice Group and Friends of Bloomsbury Square Gardens for joining us for a week to remember 🕶 Our incredible musicians John Fossey, Nuala Bennett-Wilford and Iago Banet brought the party to Bloomsbury with amazing acoustic performances! 🌻 Thank you to everyone who joined us over the past two weeks in the sun – it was brilliant to meet so many people from the district and celebrate with our fantastic local businesses.

Week 1 of CDA's Summer Party is complete! ✨ We loved enlivening the new Clerkenwell Green public space and meeting so many local people and fantastic businesses. The ducks have taken over Clerkenwell Green with CDA’s Summer Party! Liz C., Kiana Gough and fluffy Mabel are out and about, introducing potential clients to ideally located wallacespace. Pull them for a chat if you're in the area ☀️

🔒 Fleet Street Quarter is committed to enhancing the safety and security of those working, living, and visiting the area. June was a busy month with events and partnerships taking place to promote community engagement and bolster our community’s safety.   🤝 Following the success of our Crime Prevention Workshops with City of London Police, we have begun undertaking local partnership meetings to facilitate more of these sessions within local offices, ensuring those who work in Fleet Street Quarter are informed about the latest crime prevention advice. If your office wants to get involved with this initiative, please email Bethany Nash at beth.nash@fleetstreetquarter.co.uk.   ☕ We have continued our ‘Coffee with a Cop’ bimonthly series whereby members of the local SME community are invited to informally join their local policing team and the FSQ safe and secure manager to discuss any crime concerns. These sessions help to forge relationships and more direct methods of reporting and community crime prevention initiatives, as well as putting a friendly face to neighbourhood policing. Keep a lookout for the next session coming up in August.   👉 Some of our Fleet Street Quarter locals, especially those based around Chancery Lane and Holborn may have seen our new partnership patrol with Central District Alliance which has brought together FSQ’s on-street Ambassadors with CDA Security Team to patrol our busy border areas to the west and north of the area. ☀ These patrols will run throughout the summer months to support our local businesses, workers, visitors and residents, as well as share intelligence on safety and security from across the two BID footprints, allowing FSQ and CDA to continue to work collaboratively in these areas. #fleetstreetquarter #cityoflondon #communitysafety #communitysecurity #communitybuilding #safetyandsecurity

It was a privilege to champion a queer pop-up market at St Giles Square, outside Tottenham Court Road station, hosted by London Borough of Camden and run by Mother Canteen, celebrating a collection of vibrant small craft businesses! 💛 A heartfelt thank you to Zerritha Brown FRSA, Nick Barclay, London Borough of Camden and Mother Canteen for their incredible support and to everyone who identifies as LGBTQ+, within and beyond our community.
