In response to today’s IT outage which has caused significant global disruption, we have published this statement, including advice on how to defend against phishing attempts⬇️ While we assess the outage was not the result of a cyber attack, an increase in phishing attempts since the incident occurred has been seen, as opportunistic malicious actors seek to exploit the situation.

Today we introduce the latest chapter in the NCSC research problem book: addressing cyber physical problems⬇️ The book brings together the most significant problems which the NCSC believes are in need of concerted and significant collaborative effort from multiple and diverse disciplines over the next decade In this latest chapter we set out the high-level questions we think are important to secure the systems that bridge the gap between the physical and digital worlds We urge academics, as well as those interested in cyber-physical research and anyone working with cyber-physical systems to consider this chapter.
