It was an honour to host a roundtable at Goals House during London Climate Action Week, in partnership with Third Derivative and Techstars Foundation. We explored the need for greater funding for female entrepreneurs, particularly in the climate tech space. Women are disproportionately affected by climate change, yet underrepresented in solutions. A special thank you to Irina Gorbounova, one of my best friends and one of the most impressive leaders in decaborbonizing steel, for your insights. Thank you Rushad Nanavatty for brilliantly moderating an all women discussion and Alexandra Khripko for helping to organise it all. From studying English to her product on major retailer's shelves... 🥚 Anna Richey, alumna and co-founder of Two Chicks, shares her journey from studying at York to becoming a journalist, and then starting her own egg-based business! She didn't plan to start a business, so she talked us through some of the challenges she had to overcome to get where she is today: "Studying English helped me write the business plan and do all the PR when we launched because we couldn't afford anything️.
