If I could give minus 5 stars I would. I’m still waiting 6.5 hours later for recovery, from a central location in mainland England! Not remote in anyway. A series of problem with their response which just shows me they just haven’t got their act together. It’s like they just don’t care that they are bad at the thing they are supposed to do. Not one but multiple problems. No system to put things right once mistakes have been made. It just needs someone in management to care enough to look at the customer experience. Terrible in the extreme.

Easy to arrange and seemed to be a reasonable price. Whilst it would have been good to have gotten it cheaper I liked the option to add legal cover

Well…. Over the past year HSBC have locked me out of my mobile banking app twice. When I call to get me back into my account, I get denied as I get the security questions wrong (asking me how many bank transfers I’ve done over the past month!!! How is anyone supposed to know that) just to be told to go into a branch. Well it’s Saturday evening bank is closed. Sunday they don’t open. I work full time so I can go in the evening. When asked to speak to the manager they flat out refused because no one can help. To be told they will ring tomorrow which I highly doubt it. I travel for work and need to be able to access all money (from main account to savings accounts) and they just didn’t care. I will be switching as soon as I get my account sorted! Same because I’ve been with HSBC since I was 13. ASHAMED they should feel.
