This is a good value 5-blade razor comparible to the Gillette Fusion 5 - however, at a much lower price. The price includes 6 spare blades.I have sensitive skin but the razor gives a comfortable close shave and the blades last me 2-3 weeks. So, no complaints in that regard.I do have a couple of minor gripes.(1). The packaging is way OTT and a complete waste. This appears to be a growing feature of own brand products. Wake up Amazon!(2). I ordered a 12 pack of spare blades and these were different (and appreciably larger) than the 6 blades than came with the razor. They are a tad more difficult to fit - which is annoying. However, once fitted, they also give a comfortable shave.

Brilliant blades and descent handle . Blades are far cheaper than even the ' we want to save you money on blades' companies - you know who they are . Cannot fault the sharpness literally better than the best a man can get and they come with a lubtri strip as well . Give them a go you wont be disappointed . Even the replacement blade pack is less than £10 for 10 blades so whats not to like ? If amazon can do this why cant other ' less reduce your shaving costs 'companies I wonder ?

Having not been too impressed with branded blades I decided to give these a try at a fraction of the cost as the branded ones. And they are on par with others I have used, nice clean shave and as durable so from now on these are my choice. Recommend.

The first blade that came attached has only lasted about 5 shaves.

I have been an electric shaver for many years but decided to try wet shaving again as my current electric shaver is getting old.

I can sometimes go three or five days without a shave which my electric one deals with however, as mentioned withthe blade on the razor it has given me a closer shave after maybe two passes but it's pretty much blunt.

Let's see how long the second one lasts

The style of blade has changed for the worse.
The old style was great and well worth the money. Boots and Aldi own brand were the same style, but Amazon did a better price.
The new style on the other hand, is more prone to causing bad nicks and cuts. Some of these cuts were quite bad and even removed a thin layer of skin on one occasion. Actually binned the new style ones as they were that bad.
Started using the old style blades from another supplier and no more cuts.
Would not recommend unless you like the sting of shaving cuts, and mop up of blood.

I've used King of Shaves shaving gel for years and switched to their 4-blade razor a year ago. I loved them but they were expensive. Then they discontinued the 4-blade and switched to 5-blade at even higher cost and I didn't like the razor design, so I looked around at subscription services including all the big brand names but they were all so expensive. Then I discovered Amazon's own brand 5-blade razors and decided to give them a try, starting with the small handle+blades kit. As I use Amazon subscribe and save for other items, I benefitted even further from discounts.

I have been using Amazon razors for a year now and I'm extremely please with them. They give a better shave than my old razors without any cuts or irritation so far (still with KoS shave gel) and the single extra blade on the back is great for shaving the moustache close under the nose and trimming sideburns. I shave every day yet each blade lasts me 4-5 weeks. I was always sceptical about razors with swivel heads thinking it was a gimmick, but I have to admit it does keep the razor tracking the contours of the face so I am converted.

I had a second handlee/blade set on subscription so I had a second for my travel case, and now I've switched my subscription to the larger pack of blades only working out at only £1 per blade, a fraction of the cost of big brand names.

I have used big brand razors in the past but IMHO these surpass their performance and longevity at a fraction of the cost and as such are an absolute bargain which I can only recommend.

Die Qualität der Klingen ist nicht die allerbeste, soviel schon mal vorab. Allerdings ist sie aus meiner Sicht dennoch ausreichend. Ich nutze eine klinge etwa eine Woche. Andere bekannte Hersteller können vielleicht eine etwas bessere Qualität bieten, dafür sind die Preise aber auch höher. Insofern sind diese Klingen eine gute Alternative zu teuren Produkten. Es gibt noch eine andere Variante von Amazon-Klingen die ich mir auch schon bestellt hatte. Ich habe festgestellt dass bei dieser Variante, wo der Kopf dünner ist (ich hoffe man versteht was ich meine) ein präziseres Rasieren, vorallem unter der Nase, möglich ist. Daher gibt es von mir hier 5 Sterne, sofern die Preise auch weiterhin günstiger bleiben als zum Beispiel für Klingen von Wilkonson etc.
