JBLのPebbles、CreativeのPebbleよりほんの少し、設置スペースは少なくすみます。
BoseのM3などがありましたが、だいたい同じサイズ感です。
３時間ほど、youtubeのエージング音源でエージングした後の感想となります。
なお、DACとしてFiioのBTR3Kを使っています。
素の音は低音は少ないのでイコライザで低域〜中低域をすこし盛ってあげれば中々バランス良いです。
重低音は皆無なので、低音がほしい方はもっとでかいユニットを積んだものか、
サブウーファー付きを買ってください。
高域はスッキリしていて聴きやすく、動画視聴は良かったです。
筐体はプラでそれほど丈夫ではないです。
音量を大きくすると箱鳴りもしますので、分解して対策済み。
エアコンパテのようなものですが、ネオシールを制振材として内部に貼り付けました。
吸音材はなにも入ってないので、気になる方は追加しても良いかもしれません。
当方は余ってたフェルトを少し追加しました。
少音量だと違いは少ないですが、音量を大きくした時の高域はスッキリしました。
低域も若干締まるので、最初に調整したイコライザからもうすこし低域盛っても音は濁りませんでした。
また重量も増えますので、設置も安定します。
簡単ですが分解写真載せておきます。
スピーカーは5Wで比較的しっかりしたマグネットとフレームのものが搭載されていました。
少なくともダイソー300円のスピーカーよりは質が高いです。
アンプ部も思ったよりはしっかりしてます。
分解はプラスネジ４本で止まってるだけなので、簡単に外せます。
若干不満だったのは、形状からスピーカーは上向き配置になってるかと思いましたが、
そうでもなかったので、結局は台を作ってユニットが耳の方を向くように配置しました。
電源に関してはUSB給電なのでつなぐ場所が悪いとノイズが入ります。
モバイルモニター2台つないでるPDアダプタにつなぐとノイズが入ったので
別の本スピーカーだけのUSB ACにつなぐと、３時くらいまではほぼノイズ無しでした。
入力機器にもよりますが、１２時〜１時くらいで十分な音量です。
電源LEDは明るすぎるので黒ビニテで蓋したところ全く見えなくなります。
無改造でも高音質を求めないのであれば、モニタやノートPCのスピーカよりは良いです。
今回はPebblesからの交換でしたが、Pebblesは音は良いのですが
・音量調整が厳しい
・AUXが無音時にかなりノイズが乗る
・ケーブル短い
という不満点があり、使いにくかったです。（音質は満足してました）
AmazonBasicは上記不満点はなく、音質もBGMや動画レベルなら使えます。
箱の中も基本部品以外は無いので、当方のように物理的に調整も可能です。
2000円〜4000円位のラインになりますが、
色々使いたい方はPebble, Pebble V2, Pebble PlusなどPebble系の方をオススメします。
特にPebble Plusはサブウーファー付きなので、マルチメディア用途には強いです。（場所とりますが）
音楽以外の人の声（オンライン授業など）を主体に扱う場合はAmazon Basicの方をオススメします。
