I don't always add a review, but I always research things within an inch of it's life. I was so near buying a cotton herringbone blanket, but I am so glad I didn't, as this blanket is absolutely brilliant. I bought the 220cm x 240cm size and it's very generous on my double bed. The colour is perfect for me, but for your info, it is slightly more grey/beige. Very warm and cosy. Although it's relatively lightweight, it's heavy enough not to fall off. Just buy one and save yourself the time of trawling the internet for a good blanket!

Soft, silky and oh so strokable outer - so gorgeous to the touch that I'm tempted to run my hand across it every time I pass by. Thick, cosy teddy bear fleece on the underside to bury yourself into and trap warm air against your body. No sign of shedding and very, very thick. Doesn't slide about on the bed because of that teddy fleece so you'll stay snuggled up and toasty all night.

I've marked it down for weight because I bought the largest size they had. I'm doubting that my washing machine will cope well with this when it needs cleaning as it's so large and heavy - wet, it might well damage the spin mechanism. However, I'll be happy to have it cleaned in an industrial sized machine when it needs it. If you're looking for a smaller size, you probably don't need to worry about this.

It comes in a wide variety of colours, most of them neutral (pretty good for toning with most colours of decor). If you do want something more vibrant (red, purple etc) you might have to wait a while for them to come back into stock or try elsewhere. Bedsure (also available on Amazon) do something similar but are considerably more expensive.

All in all, a very good fleece for a very competitive price and I'm very glad I bought it!

By far the best blanket I have ever used. Both sides are incredibly nice to touch, especially the smooth ‘micromink’ side.

It’s very warm and cosy and even bigger than a king size duvet; it covers two people on the sofa with ease.

To top it off I purchased this on an Amazon deal at just £14 for the biggest size, but even at its full price of £27 I would not hesitate to buy it again.

Perhaps the only issue is it’s so large that it’s not the easiest to fold and put away neatly!

This is an amazingly warm blanket and, in King Size, huge! It's so soft and cozy it sends my grandson into a state of bliss! We had it on the bed with only a summer quilt and I think it was warmer than just the winter quilt. But I have a couple of warnings: It seems to be shedding very fine pile from the grey side, and they are irritating my nose and my eyes. It's like a pet allergy or hay fever. I've washed it, dried it and vacuumed it with a high suction machine and it's better but not completely cured. If you are immune to itchy eyes and sneezes you've got no worries. But, if you decide to wash it be aware that it wouldn't even fit in my machine. And if it had it would have been over the safe weight limit and would have broken the mechanism. Once it's wet it's INCREDIBLY heavy and unmanageable. Take it to a laundrette and wash and spin it there. Even so it'll take ages to completely dry.
A great blanket just a shame about the allergy problem.

L'ensemble fait presque trois kilos, raison pour laquelle je l'ai acheté. En effet, plus ce genre de couverture est lourd et plus la qualité est au rendez-vous, ce n'est pas toujours vrai mais souvent vrai.

Ici pour le prix payé, j'estime qu'on est dans un excellent rapport qualité/prix et je sais que les produits Amazon Basics sont ordinaires mais de bonne qualité. Je n'ai pas été déçue et je recommande.
