I bought the 10m cable to chase into a wall, and I removed the connectors from both ends to solder on my own at the required length. This revealed that the construction of the cable is not as described:"the subwoofer cable features a copper-clad steel centre conductor, dielectric insulation, aluminium shielding, and heavy braided-copper shielding"I imagined that "aluminium shielding, and heavy braided-copper shielding" would mean aluminium foil and braided copper shielding, but that's not the case. There's no foil, the braiding looks like aluminium, and it's certainly not "heavy".In fact the only copper here is a tiny wire in the middle of the stranded centre conductor, surrounded by strands of aluminium which aren't even coated in copper. The thickness of the cable is very misleading, because about two thirds of it is rubber. The actual cable in the middle is very thin.The cable *seems* to work ok with my equipment (not cheap, but not insanely expensive either) in a basic test, but I just don't trust it enough to chase it permanently into the wall. I'm going to buy something better and accept this as a lesson that you get what you pay for.

Very happy with this subwoofer cable which drives my Walfdale 150w sub well with no hiss at all. The shielding could have been a bit beefier, but for the price I am very happy. Running from a Denon AVR X2800H and very happy with the sound and price point. I almost used an old phono cable but as I was dolling out so much on a new system I'm glad I forked out an extra £12 was able to move the sub a bit further away from the system.

I've had a few subwoofer cables with little to differentiate them. This Amazon Basics one is amongst the best - very solid construction but no annoying braiding which makes cables inflexible and vulnerable to fraying over time. A simple rubber outer is much more durable and easy to route.

I'm not a fan of the pink ends but that is a petty complaint for something you never see!
