Damian longs for home, but one man stands in his way …

Damian is just seven when he is taken in by foster carer Cathy Glass. His mother, Rachel, loves her three young children dearly, but she is vulnerable, naive and unable to cope on her own.

Ever Cathy Glass book makes me smile and makes me cry several times. This book is no exception.
Beautifully written. I couldn't put it down and completed the book in just one day. Cathy appears to be the mum that all children deserve but too often, so many have no experience of a "normal" loving family. And there are times when they do have a loving family but they need a little help and support.
I would encourage everyone to read all of Cathy's book as they're all genuinely fantastic and open your eyes to things you may be unaware of when it comes to Fostering and Social Services. The children is these stories will stay with you for a lifetime.

I love Cathy glass books. Also Casey Watson and Maggie Hartley and Angela hart. And Thoes books that wrote about Fostering. I believe Cathy has saved many children and their families. She go above and beyond. To help the most helplist
I wish Cathy was around when I was growing up maybe she could of helped Me Also. But what boyfriend would send a 7 year old to sell Drugs. I didn't have a good vibe from him. I feel Bad for Nathan mom. She seems so vulnerable to. And wants what is best for her Kids . With a little help I believe she could do it. Only took Me few days to read this book. I couldn't put it down. I kept wanting to know what happened. Im gonna miss your books Cathy glass. But I know you should focus on your Family to with all your new Grand babies. Thanks so much for all you do. I wish there was more people in this World that was so kind hearted like you are. You've changed Many Young Lives and their families. Thank you again

This book had me hooked from beginning to end. Cathy told this story in the same heartfelt way she always does. I read this book in less than 24 hours and wish I could rate it even higher. I also loved that Damian’s story isn’t the only one that gets told in this book. So captivating, I know I’ll be giving it a second read!

I have read all of Cathy Glass's books and love them. I just recently read "Unsafe" and it was no disappointment. I look forward to her next book. I don't know how she does everything, between fostering, raising her own children, and now being a wonderful grandma, and also writing her books, besides other things I know she achieves in her life. I hope she continues to write, even if she does her fostering part time. You have a very special place in my bookcase, Cathy, and I am always ready and eager to make room for more!
