    Anfangs war ich überrascht vom guten Klang. Bass, Mitten, Höhen, alles da. Frequenzen und Instrumente wirken teilweise räumlich getrennt, wodurch es sauberer klingt als bei den ganz billigen Kopfhörern.

    Nach einiger Zeit hab ich jedoch festgestellt, dass der gute Klang nur in Verbindung mit den vorhandenen Ohrpolstern möglich ist. Ersetzt man die Ohrpolster durch dünne Schaumstoffüberzüge (wie bei ganz billigen Kopfhörern), wird der Klang sehr flach, blechern, vermatscht, kein Bass mehr. Das hat mich sehr verwundert. Ich hatte schon Kopfhörer von Logitech und Panasonic ähnlicher Preisklasse, die trotz dünner Schaumstoffüberzüge einen guten Klang hatten. Bei den JVCs ist das aber nicht so. Dort ist der gute Klang nur in Verbindung mit den vorhandenen, speziellen Ohrpolstern möglich. Das finde ich nicht gut. Es wäre mir lieber, wenn die Kopfhörer auch ohne spezielle Ohrpolster einen guten Klang liefern würden.

    Die vorhandenen Ohrpolster sind relativ steif und unbequem. Allerdings kann man sie abziehen und durch andere ersetzen. Man kann z.B. folgende Ersatzpolster verwenden:
    - Dicke, ringförmige Ohrpolster: diese dürfen maximal 60mm Durchmesser haben. Diese rutschen zwar etwas herum, aber kleinere hab ich nicht gefunden. Durch diese Ohrpolster verliert der Klang aber schon schon deutlich an Bass und Räumlichkeit.
    - Dünne, flache Schaumstoffüberzüge: hier reichen schon welche mit 50mm Durchmesser. Der Klang wird dadurch jedoch sehr flach und blechern.

    Die Kopfhörer hatten anfangs einen recht starken Anpressdruck an den Ohren. Dieser lässt sich aber leicht verringern. Der Kopfbügel besteht aus einem Metallband, welcher sich mit etwas Kraft verbiegen lässen, und auch nicht bricht. Sicherheitshalber empfehle ich aber nur den oberen Teil des Kopfbügels zu verbiegen (und nicht an den Ohrmuscheln die abbrechen könnten).

    Geräusche am Kopfband (ob durch Berührung, Kleidung, Kissen) und am oberen Teil des Kabels werden recht laut in die Ohrmuscheln übertragen. Das passiert recht häufig und ist ziemlich störend. Dieses Problem hatte ich bei einem billigen alten Panasonic Kopfhörer (nur aus Plastik) nicht.
