This is really sturdy. i was worried buying one that it would be flimsy or would have stress points and im so glad i bought this one that is all one piece as its been great. had it for a while now and even the kids have jmuped about and played on it and its holding up well. can be used on carpet or wooden floor as it has a non slip section on the bottom. nice and light to move around and the handles are helpful, particularly if using it for plank/push ups etc.
As someone who's tipping the scale at 17st and whose desk is on carpet, it's tricky to find something durable enough to work for me. I need to stand more, but find it desperately dull standing still, and my legs don't like it much. Music works a treat, but not so much during meetings! This is great - I probably look like I've got ants in my pants, but it does give me a bit of relief in terms of posture. If you get it wrong it definitely works your muscles! I can quite see that the one going in all directions would be a step up - I will be attempting it, but not yet :D
Excellent, not too big so hides out the way when not in use. Used for strengthening my core and balance as I train for marathon. Recommended by my run trainer
I have now got a standing desk and always find myself leaning on one leg. After using this to stand one whilst using the standing desk I've noticed I no longer lean on one leg! Definitely recommend, good for engaging core and leg muscles.
This is a good quality balance board. However, the top is very spiky and very painful to stand on if you are not wearing shoes. I work from home with just socks or slippers on my feet, so this board becomes very painful after a short amount of time. It would be perfect if it had a softer, less spikey top.
Price is great. I got the larger size. Plastic is good. The first one i ordered was cheap wood and arrived spintered. I like this 360 better than the rocker style. I have used both in PT. I would liked to have bought the one with the big half sphere rubber ball to do more of the exercizes but the cost was more than double. This one hs a small hard plastic rounded bottom. I can tell my balance is better. The grandkids think it is great. Will be easier to keep clean too.
My husband tried to keep it (I purchased it for my classroom). Great little workout -great for incorporating into a sensory path, can be used while watching tv. Easy to store-super sturdy! Life the job-slip surface on top. Definitely use on carpet or a rug with socks, shoes or barefoot-very versatile!
What I'm about to say is a bit counter intuitive but this wobble board is very sturdy! I was surprised by it's weight. I was also surprised by how my legs felt after my first day of using it at my desk. You are working your muscles without even realizing it! I love the sphere bottom design because you can switch the muscle groups being targeted without having to turn the board.
