I bought this to reach the bottom of the windscreen which is inherently hard to get to on my car. It managed this with ease and I also found it made the whole windscreen easier to do. I've now used this over the whole windscreen and it makes it a lot more effortless to do. I just stand to the side of the car with the door open and use this to accomplish half the windscreen, repeating this on the other side.
I hadn't envisaged using this for the main windscreen but it does take the effort out of doing it. Also with 3 covers for the cleaning end it makes it easy to use one for putting "on" and one for taking "off" with ease.
It is made of plastic but I've found I can apply decent pressure to the cleaner without any "give" so I think it will stand the test of time.
