‘Did’ the job but has stopped working after only 3 months
Worked perfectly well but after only 3 months it has stopped working?! I have tried other ones to check if there is an issue with my MacBook Pro and they work fine so the issue is indeed with this docking station. Not great as I’ve had to email their support website as no direct support offered via Amazon.

I bought this to replace the really bad one I got from work.
I can now share my work laptop display with my own x3 27" screens (x2 HDMI x1 DP in my case).
I found that using extra cables and just switching inputs manually on my x3 PC screens as needed means:

• I can have from 1-3 additional screens switched to my work laptop as needed, leaving the others available to my home PC.
• I did not have to purchase additional hardware such as a KVM to achieve exactly the same thing.
• My eyes cope far better with the large screens for intense work sessions.
• I am no longer juggling Teams windows when hosting calls and trying to share content.

My only negative observation is that “sometimes” the DP port does not pick up the monitor correctly. However, I have found that unplugging the USB C cable from the laptop and plugging it back in again resets the device and the DP input is picked up again.
(The DP input also gives me a lower resolution than the other two – but that’s probably down to me and losing the will to live tussling with Windows Settings)

Although I would love to say it enables me to play fantastic games at blistering framerates with amazing resolutions, in fact what it does is give me a very cost effective and significant positive impact on my work productivity, apart from now when I should be working *cough*.

Good quality build small compact dock. I replaced large HP dock with this unit and it works ok with HDMI cables to dual monitors. The only downside is I cant use the vga connection with my desktop. The Supplier has been quick to respond and try to help but advised desktop is not compatible. Although the product wasnt suitable the Customer Service is excellent so I have given 4 stars

The Dock gets warm and stops working after about 1 hour of use with 2 HDMI monitors. It starts working again once it has cooled down. Sent it back for full refund. For the 1 hour that it works it is good. The cable that goes to the laptop is a bit short and rigid.

Its seems to have difficulty charging my Dell laptop. I have a proper Dell charger plugged into it, but it only charges the laptop when it feels like it. I have two potential ports that could be used for this on the laptop and I have swapped between them and it still happens. Right now it won't charge at all. It is very frustrating. I got this so I would only have to plug one thing in (I work hybrid so I am in and out of the office regularly). If I have to plug the charger into the laptop directly it defeats the whole purpose of this.
