Finally a display that is not too bright for the bedroom. Adjusts its level perfectly and night mode reduces the time to a dull red that doesn’t seem to add any noticeable light to a dark room. Easy to read, nice having the weather, temperature, date and time on one screen, no ads, no dumb useless data. Very nice!
Sound is pretty good and outperforms what I expect from its size. No complaints here.

Good replacement for Echo Dot with Clock, but could be improved.
I bought this to replace my Echo Dot with clock, as a bedside clock / alarm clock.The product looks pretty decent and the animations on screen are pretty cool. Importantly to me I can see the screen from different angles (a must for a bedside clock, in my opinion).I will say though as noted in some other reviews, the device is clearly built to a budget by not taking full advantage of the dead space where the screen is.It also seems that there may be some missing features (Alexa can't change the alarm volume "on this device yet") .Overall though, I am very pleased with it as a replacement for the original echo dot clock, and hope that future updates add some missing features.Would recommend to purchase, particularly when on offer.

I think that’s one of this products best selling point… looks. It features a small display (which when brightened has an obvious backlight box cutout), and a dedicated good sounding speaker. Obviously, with it being an Echo product, it also controls your home, calls people, plays music for you… and so on.
The colours available are great, making it customisable and ready for any room (like mine).
The UI of the product is nice and smooth (as you’d expect at this price point and release year).
The only thing I would say is that the display cut off is really frustrating, I wish it had a curved display that utilised its circular space!
If your looking for an Echo device that matches a small space with big features, this is the one.

Another interesting device from Amazon in the echo line up, and I have experienced most of them in my time. Sure, it is pitched as the ‘smart alarm clock’, a job the Show 5 or Dot with Clock (probably the best all round device currently) do admirably too. I have always found that relatively to their size, the echo devices produce a surprisingly good sound, and this is no exception. The screen graphics when playing music seem quite pleasant, but whilst a display is nice feature, it doesn’t give much more in features than the Dot, and so unless it is on a very good offer, I think there are better value devices to be had.

Very happy with this which is basically a smart alarm clock. Good quality, compact and the sound quality is amazing for its size. Easy to set up if you already have the Alexa App. I also bought the base for it as it has USB/USB-C charging points. It doesn’t have a camera so if you want a camera - buy something else.
