I just wanted a basic pair of speakers to use with my gaming desktop in occasions when I'm not using my headset - eg watching YouTube etc. For that purpose these are fine, they're small and unobtrusive and the sound is loud and clear. On the other hand the blue LEDs are very dim and the base is very weak so if you're wondering what the catch is it's there. Can't complain too much for £15 though. I'd say these are slightly better than laptop speakers and probably equivalent to the speakers you get in a TV from the supermarket.
