The water tank leaks if you fill more than half full. The steaming works ok with ripe fruit it is good that it has a beep when it thinks its steamed enough i often ignore as i want veg mushy before i blend for baby. The steam function does take a while sometimes i do veg/fruit in microwave to save time it helps to chop pieces up small. The blender does its job but can be a bit clunky the spinny blade does bounce up n down a bit but seems ok. I do find thicker substances especially if adding meat/fish or harder veg does tend to have a bit of a grainy texture so you do have to hold the blender knob on about 30seconds at a time it does tend to take a while to get a smooth consistency that i require for baby purèe. She will take a smooth mashy constistancy and chug in a load of premade formula to get the right smoothness. All in all it was a bit expensive even with a damaged open box and forign instructions im sure for secondhand it wasnt worth as much but id only ever had cheap hand blender or rubbish blenders when my three older kids were babies so thought treat myself to a decent brand for my last baby. I have a frezzer drawer full of ice cube sized portions of babyfood its agood feeling shes only had homemade from me.
