My 13 year-old son needed a set of small speakers for his PC gaming setup. He's no audiophile and just wanted something better than the tinny built-in speaker he was using. A quick bit of searching and these Amazon basic speakers came up at a very reasonable price and were well reviewed.
They arrived promptly, via Prime shipping and the unboxing was a pleasant surprise in that these little speakers have quite a bit of weight to them. They feel expensive and well made. Certinaly better than some low-end speakers I've handled in the past. They look great, I opted for the silver version. The blue lighting underneath adding a touch of extra atmosphere when dark.
The sound re-production was as good as you would hope for a speak of this size. With no separate sub-woofer, the bass was always going to be lacking, but to be fair to these Amazon Basic speakers, they sound brilliant. I genuinely don't think you could get any better for this price, or even double the price. 5 out of 5 stars for me. They look, and more importantly, sound fantastic for the money.
