These are basic (as the name suggests) but sturdy and well-made. They function perfectly well as ordinary computer speakers, though not really hi-fi. The blue light is subtle and not distracting. The volume control is on the cable and awkward to use, but they are easily controlled from your keyboard. I use them on my Mac Studio, which has rather poor internal speakers and is situated away from the monitor. Place these under the screen and they are a useful substitute.
