While yes, they do not contain a carrier bag unlike the old version of these earphones do, this certainly does make up for it. At the same price with a remote and microphone and it's quality, it's a bargain. The bass is absolutely beautiful, once you put them in and just listen to your first song, you'll pretty much float for a second in awe. The buds are soft in the ear and comfortable, and although they may look heavy, they are actually quite light. The outer x's on each earphone is in rubbish, and it's soft too. I've had skullcandys in the past and they have been this quality but at a much higher price, and they always went faulty after about 3 weeks. I've had these for a lot more than 3 weeks, they are working just like new and you can store them any way you want, for me they have retained their quality.
