The sound is very clear with a good bass, and the volume can go pretty loud if you like that. I bought these because of the small cups which sit nicely on my ears once I get the position right; they're very comfortable and light. I've had them for a few months now and the sound tends to interrupt if the wire & audio jack move around in my pocket. Maybe over time the audio jack will loosen to the point where they stop working; that's the problem I always have with budget headphones. But for short term, they're the best headphones I've had in this price range, so would definitely recommend them.
