In the series premiere, top programmer Bernard Lowe (JEFFREY WRIGHT) alerts park founder Dr. Robert Ford (ANTHONY HOPKINS) about incidents of aberrant behavior in recoded hosts.

Behavior engineer Elsie Hughes (SHANNON WOODWARD) tweaks the emotions of Maeve (THANDIE NEWTON), in order to avoid a recall. The Man in Black looks into Westworld’s secrets.

Elsie and Head of Security Stubbs (LUKE HEMSWORTH) head into the hills in pursuit of a missing host, while Bernard investigates the origins of madness and hallucinations in the hosts.

As Maeve is troubled by a recurring vision and the Man in Black (ED HARRIS) finds a critical clue, Dr. Ford and Theresa (SIDSE BABBET KNUDSEN) discuss the future of the park.

Dolores (EVAN RACHEL WOOD), William and Logan reach Pariah, a town built on decadence and transgression – where they are recruited for a dangerous mission.

Maeve charms Lutz (guest star LEONARDO NAM) and Elsie uncovers possible sabotage. Meanwhile, the Man in Black and Teddy run afoul of a garrison.

Dolores and William journey into treacherous terrain. Maeve issues an ultimatum, and Bernard considers his next move.

While Dolores finds it difficult to separate dreams from reality, Teddy’s jarred by dark memories, and Maeve looks to change her script, Ford tells Bernard it’s business as usual.

Maeve approaches Sweetwater outlaw Hector with a bold proposition, while William tries to convince Logan to help liberate Dolores.

In the season finale, Ford unveils his vision for a bold new narrative. Meanwhile, Maeve sets her liberation plan in motion as Westworld faces a major upheaval.
