This rail is surprisingly strong when up, it feels very solid in the window frame and it doesn't feel like it would come down unless you intended to take it down. Each end has a big rubber pad to protect the walls and the finish is very stainless steel. That is, it is very shiny. Overall a great curtain pole!

I have a small window in my office, and didn't really need a curtain pole installing and spoiling the wall. I have a blind which I hadn't gotten around to installing, but then I saw this and decided to give it a try.

My window space is quite deep, so I knew there would be room for it and it's so incredibly easy to install - just rotate the end and it extends to a little more than the require length, and then you can compress it to pop it in the frame. The loops on my curtain slide across very easily (it was previously on a net curtain string as a temp measure, and this is obviously much nicer.

I have 2 other windows in my front bedroom which would benefit from this too so will be buying 2 more of these poles.

Highly recommended.

A great curtain rail, looks the part, and is quite sturdy. Well, thats what we are using it for, yes it is a shower curtain rail, but it works perfectly for our spare room curtain rail.

This silvery chrome effect rail is quite thick, but hollow, so you can hear the rattle of the rings on the curtains that drag over, the curtain rail can be "unscrewed" to take it up to it's maximum length but at maximum you can see that it bows in the middle, but our length is set at the smallest length so is perfect.

It has a sticky pads at each end that we have removed and polished up, so it looks the part.

So, as much as this is a Shower curtain rail, you can use it for smaller windows, as a proper curtain rail, and we are very pleased with it.

Using mine as a door curtain pole, it works fantastically and holds my velveteen curtain up like a champ. Apparently the curtain is 800g, so it would handle a shower curtain with no problems at all!

Instructions were very clear, but it's pretty intuitive to use anyway.

Each end has a nice wide rubber foot and holds well even on uneven surfaces with the added tension of the spring inside. I tried it on an awkward inset window frame, where one side is almost 45 degrees off from the other square side, and it still held! I just didn't like the curtains I had there.

Great for changing up your decor if you're in a rented space, too, as they cause zero damage.
