First off the cap is really nice, the material is great and the quality is fantastic, there's nothing to complain about except for the size. The size of this thing is crazy, it's huge, it's not a one size fits most, it's more of a one size fits few in my opinion. One would have to have a good sized head for this to fit and I mean large or x-large and up.
Now in fairness I'm not a large guy, about 5'5" and 140lbs. I usually wear around a size 7 fitted hat and generally never have an issue with one size caps except this brand, this is the second cap I've tried and they just keep getting bigger. The best way I can describe it is, they are sized like stuff in the big and tall section. There's nothing wrong with that at all but their description of fitting most people is incorrect.
The reason I went so low on the stars is due to the fact that this is labeled as an insert. Inserts generally run smaller than standard sizes so they fit under helmets, hard hats and the like. This is more of an over wear, such as to wear over another cap to provide water proofing, even then it's kind of big still. It's actually so big, I can't say if it will stretch to fit or not as I can't find anyone that it will fit, it's just too big for everyone I've had try it on.
If you're the type of person that finds most one size too small, this is for you but if most one size fits comfortably or just fits you, this will be way too big. It's unfortunate, I really like the looks and the material but it needs to be a few inches (at least) smaller in diameter. Measured out it is 26", so you're head needs to be about 2 foot around to fit this.

It's LARGE (measurements below)
I was super excited to get this beanie for Fall water sports due to its advertised waterproof nature. I didn't get its slightly more expensive Gore-Tex variation because of the number of reviews discussing the gigantic size of that OS beanie. However, this one-size-fits-all beanie is also enormous.So, in case anyone else makes my mistake unintentionally, here are the measurements:- Diameter: 23.25". Midpoint at top to front/back is 8.75".For those who wear New Era baseball caps, I wear a small-medium in the 39Thirty style and a 7 1/4 (57.7cm) in the 59Fifty style, and this was way too big for me. While it nicely covers my ears, I also think this thing would blow off my head with a solid gust of wind. It might work okay with a fleece earband/headband underneath, but I wasn't expecting to have to modify it.The materials feel kind of like the thin foam layers you find in speaker equipment. It is 96% polyester and 4% elastane and has a slightly chemical smell.One star off for lacking measurements in the description and the fact that it probably only fits "large" heads.
