Yes, these are just plastic, but they have a certain aesthetic feel to them with the swoopy lines and the slightly speckled white. They don't feel or look cheap. This set ended up being a bit too tall for the pantry space where I wanted to use them, so I couldn't stack them, but I put the bins side by side , one filled with rolls of crackers and the other one with small boxes of dried goods like mac & cheese or boxed penne noodles. I am still pleased with the purchase because they bring a little organization to the pantry and don't look chintzy at all. In fact, dare I say, they look elegant. I will look for other items in the YouCopia line if / when I need more little organizer doo-dads.

This is a great storage bin for my narrow and deep cabinets. It allows me to store items further back without having to take all the items from the front out to reach them. My cabinet openings aren't tall enough to use two of these stacked but you could probably do so in a pantry. At $23, it's a great value for an organizer this versatile and well-made.

These are nice stackable bins that can hold quite a few items, depending on what you intend to use them for. I would probably steer clear of using them to store produce like onions and potatoes as shown in the product photos because they won't get enough airflow and would probably spoil a lot faster.

They are a bit bigger than I was expecting so I'm struggling to find a place in my pantry where I can house such a big footprint, especially if you use them as a stack and want to put taller items in the top bin. Of course, they can also be used as two separate pieces, but you'll still need a good amount of space to accommodate them. I bought these with a particular purpose in mind, unfortunately, due to spatial arrangements I'm actually able to store more items without these bins than with them in the same amount of space. Luckily, they'll be easy to repurpose to store other things, since I'm always reorganizing and I'll probably use them in my bathroom or office instead of the pantry as I'd originally intended.

These bins are good quality, and I'm not worried about them cracking or having any of the problems you see with more "cheap and cheerful" items, but I do wish that the manufacturer would have added just one thing: handles. It would be great if each bin had cut-out handles at the sides to make it easier to move them especially when they're full. For what they are, I don't find them to be a particularly good value compared to some other storage options I've used, but the design is very clever and I'm happy to pay extra for plastic items made from recycled plastics if it encourages more companies to engage in more of these types of sustainability practices.
