London Lions: We need more girls playing basketball

The women's and men's British Basketball League season is in full swing again, with the players touring the UK.

Every year, over weeks of competitive games, the teams battle for the Trophy Finals, Play-Off Finals then the big showdown at the Cup Finals.

But it's been reported by Sport England Active Lives that in the UK only 35% of regular participants of basketball are female and only 19% of registered basketball members.

Shanequa paid a visit to the London Lions who told her they wanted more girls to get involved.
