Chris Heck has taken to social media to post a picture of a new-look North Stand at Villa Park.

Villa's kits will be manufactured by adidas from next season after Nassef Sawiris - who owns around seven per cent of the German company - and Heck struck an agreement last year.

Supporters will have noticed that the club's new crest painted on the wall of the former Stumps building off Witton Lane with an adidas logo featured in the middle. The word 'prepared' can also be seen in block capitals seen further along the wall.

Further changes will be spotted by fans from next season, with a huge adidas logo visible in the North Stand upper. The logo is pained across the upper section of the stand in white.

On X, formerly Twitter, Heck posted a picture of final result with the caption: "Progress. Up The Villa!"

Anticipation is now growing for when Villa will unveil their new strip, which will be manufactured by adidas for the first time. The slight delay is due to the date in which Villa managed to strike an agreement with the sportswear giants.

"The kits, we started with the kit design as soon as we completed the agreement with adidas," Heck explained on VillaTV. "That kit design usually takes 18 to 24 months.

"We are a little bit behind and we have a lot of people working very hard to accomplish our goals and having them ready.

"We expect to launch the home kit in the first few days after the Euros and then on-sale will follow after."
