Today, we’re celebrating the seven-year anniversary of #AmericaIsAllIn, the largest and most expansive coalition ever assembled in support of U.S. climate action!🎉 Over the past seven years, #AmericaIsAllIn has mobilized a whole-of-society effort from thousands of U.S. cities, states, tribal nations, businesses and investors, colleges and universities, and faith, health, and cultural institutions, and more. Our coalition also works alongside the federal government to deliver a national climate strategy that meets the urgency of the #ClimateCrisis and empowers both workers and communities. Seven years in, we stand 5,000+ members strong, represent all 50 states, and encompass state and local governments that comprise: 🤝65% of the U.S. population 🏙️68% of the U.S. GDP Alongside our five co-chairs and climate champions across the country, we continue to work towards halving U.S. emissions by 2030, reaching net zero emissions by 2050, and reducing the impacts of the #ClimateCrisis. About us
AMERICA IS ALL IN is the most expansive coalition of leaders ever assembled in support of climate action in the United States. Mobilizing thousands of U.S. cities, states, tribal nations, businesses, schools, and faith, health, and cultural institutions, the coalition is working alongside the federal government to develop a national climate strategy that meets the urgency of the climate crisis; scaling climate action around the country to empower workers and communities; and promoting the leadership of non-federal actors on the world stage. Led by UN Special Envoy Mike Bloomberg, Washington Governor Jay Inslee, Charlotte Mayor Vi Lyles, Apple Vice President of Environment, Policy and Social Initiatives Lisa Jackson, and former White House National Climate Advisor and 13th U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Gina McCarthy, and climate champions across the country, the coalition is working to cut U.S. emissions in half by 2030 and reach net zero emissions by 2050, while guarding against the impacts of climate disruption. Coupled with whole-of-government action on climate, AMERICA IS ALL IN champions a whole-of-society mobilization to deliver the transformational change that science demands, with the goal of a healthy, prosperous, equitable, and sustainable future.

As the predicted second largest contributor toward GHG emissions reductions in 2035, the transportation sector plays a critical role in achieving our nation's 2035 climate goals. Last week, alongside climate champions at the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Transportation and Climate Symposium, we announced how, with strong state and Federal level policies and incentives, the U.S. can reduce GHG emissions by 56% below 2005 levels in the transportation sector by 2035.
