    ATSS Engineering has a client in Mobile, AL looking for a Stress Engineer. EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Registration: Professional Engineering registration required Responsible for: · Designing piping support components · Developing engineering computations · Evaluating nozzle loads, and collaborating with other departments · Evaluation of pipe flexibility and stress analysis · Measuring the effects of support settlement, safety relief valves, seismic loads, thermal cycle loads and wind. · Checks the isometrics for construction of critical lines issued by the drafting office. · Performs calculations of critical piping networks · Reviews the client’s technical documentation and requirements. · Provide support to the design team for conceptual and detail design phases. · Issues project piping stress specification and critical lines list · Review and verify that drawings are in compliance with all strength requirements and all applicable regulations. REQUIREMENTS: · Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal · Extensive experience with Caesar II required · Creating accurate project specifications · Experience with large vapor lines · Issue and releases of structural analysis reports and documents · Completing regulatory documents concerning safety issues · Issues loads to allow the design of pipe rack and foundations. · Responsible for design of all piping support components · Assist P&ID’s section preparation for stress inputs of line list · Performs the inter-disciplines checking for the part of document in accordance with the scope of piping material section · Issues technical part of requisitions for all piping support components required by stress analysis · Must have practical knowledge of ASME B31.3 Process Piping Code, ASME Section VIII, Division 1 and 2, API design standards covering API 610, API 661, API 617, API 618, API 560 · Perform relief valve’s reaction calculations · Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook · Stress support for the conceptual and detail design of primary and secondary structures in various project

    ATSS has a client in Louisiana, looking for Production Scheduler – Any Louisiana Location Responsibilities include: Workflow for departments and operations according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times. Assists in planning sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers. Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects. Prepares production reports. Involved in the development of build strategies with production and project management. Provides schedule dates for the MRP process for material procurement in time necessary to support production. Performs physical progress of project activities. Tracks area work station process results. Updates customer’s quarterly review. Plans and reviews daily station activities with supervisor. Reports progress and tracking results to production supervision. Reports schedule projections to production supervision. Develops recovery plans as needed with production supervision. Requirements: Candidate must have a minimum of 8 years’ experience in planning and preparing production schedules for industrial manufacturing and/or fabrication projects. Must be knowledgeable in planning and preparing, able to organize and multi-task multiple projects in addition to having excellent communication skills. Must be proficient in utilizing basic computer software (MS Office applications) Primavera P6 scheduling software experience is required, MS Project experience a plus. Join a growing and diverse marine manufacturing business – The essential duties of the router shop technician include, at the direction of the Router Shop Foreman: Operate and maintain CNC router tables with supervision from others. Load and unload aluminum plate stock, both from router tables and from incoming freight shipments. Sort aluminum boat parts into assembly kits. Post process aluminum drop and scrap material. Pull small parts and aluminum extrusions from inventory for boat assembly kits as directed by engineering drawings and bills of material. The ideal candidate for this position will be: Meticulous and detail oriented. Safety oriented and enjoy working on teams in support of a common goal. Able to lift 60 LBS and read a tape measure. Eager to learn about all aspects of marine manufacturing, aluminum boat construction, and CNC programming technologies. Any experience with CNC router, plasma, waterjet, CNC programming, or MasterCam is a plus. The right candidate will be offered on-the-job training. $16-20 / hr
