Black Paper: Urgent Need for Black Family Connections and Support for Black Leaders Advancing Change Efforts in Systems. https://lnkd.in/eEBejJsF
One thing is clear...Black professionals in child welfare need allies and co-conspirators to help them install new policies that disrupt the deeply embedded structural and institutional racism engrained within helping systems. This BLACK PAPER inspires people to link arms with Ujima leaders and become the allies and co-conspirators we need to bring about change. https://lnkd.in/eqQPzXDk

🟤Our Founder and Executive Director spent some time at the National Adoption Association-National Conference this past weekend. She was able to make some great connections and learn about best practices and policies in foster care and foster care adoption nationwide. Some topics included permanency, kinship ties/care, centering youth voice, and cultural competency. #WeAreTheVillage #AuntieB #BlackFosterYouthMatter
