SinterMet, LLC was honored to welcome Lenape Tech Precision Machining students once again to its Kittanning facility today. Thirty-one students were welcomed by President & CEO, William Posey. Operations Manager, Travis Beachem and Production Supervisors, Leroy Troutman (Grind Shop/Roll Shop) and Andrew Whitacre (Powder Plant/Powder Side) led the students on a tour of the facility. The students were given an inside look at the process of manufacturing tungsten carbide rolls for bar and rod mills. Supervisors were eager to answer the students’ questions about our products, processes, job shadowing and career opportunities.
