We are getting the job done in Fayetteville! We are completing the western portion of the Fayetteville Outer Loop I-295 just across the Cumberland-Robeson County line. To date, we’ve moved over two million cubic yards of borrow and unclassified excavation. Concrete girders are set, and the first of five bridges has been constructed. This important project will support our military, promote continued economic growth, and strengthen North Carolina’s ability to attract and retain business and industry.

Draining and earthwork activities are underway on the Fairfax County Parkway and Popes Head Road Interchange. When completed, the interchange will feature triple roundabouts that will allow traffic to flow freely via two new bridges over the Fairfax County Parkway. The project will also allow for pedestrian and vehicle access to the future Patriot Park, install sidewalks, and add roundabouts and acceleration lanes for drivers.
