Job Description:

We are seeking an Insights and Analytics Manager for our CPG Manufacturing client to join the team fulltime, onsite at their office in Rosemont.


As an individual contributor role, reporting into the VP of Marketing, the Insights and Analytics Manager will be responsible for identifying key consumer, customer, and marketing trends related to purchasing behavior as well as analyzing promotional pricing, in-store features and displays activity, competitive activity, and distribution.


Responsibilities:

- lead the articulation of insights based on the data, driving both short-term and long-term strategies

- lead monthly reporting based on panel and scanner / point of sale data

- lead price / pack architecture work for both short-term and long-term

- collaborate with and gather input from cross-functional partners to help identify and explain key insights and trends

- manage data partnerships (ex: IRI and/or Nielsen), ensuring effective communication, data access, and utilization services


The ideal candidate will:

- have a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field

- have 6+ years of progressive work experience in analytics roles within the consumer goods industry, retail industry, or related industry

- have prior experience with IRA and/or Nielsen data reporting and analysis

- be an expert at Excel

- have experience translating panel and point of sale data into impactful business insights and strategies

- be a data-driven individual with a passion for identifying trends and providing strategic recommendations

- be able to extract actionable insights from data, synthesize trends, and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership on the 'so what, now what.'

- have prior experience with consumer research tools and techniques




Our client offers medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees can enroll in the company’s 401k plan, as well as a deferred compensation plan.
