Overview

Department: Infrastructure Department

Reports To: Assistant Project Manager

The Infrastructure Department at OneH2 is responsible for designing and building hydrogen gas terminals across the country using our proprietary technology. We are seeking a self-motivated and energetic Assistant Project Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will work with the project management team to bring projects from concept to execution, managing documents, designs, budgets, and more. Responsibilities/Goals

  • Assist in the development of construction and engineering projects from concept to execution under the mentorship of Assistant Project Managers and Project Coordinators.
  • Draft project charters outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timelines in collaboration with Project Coordinators.
  • Draft and maintain project documentation, including document control systems, project schedules, project overviews, etc., in collaboration with Project Coordinators and Assistant Project Managers.
  • Work with non-design consultants as needed for permits, utilities, property management, etc.
  • Support project construction needs, including data recording, data filing, and data management, in collaboration with Assistant Project Managers.
  • Support project procurement needs as required, in collaboration with the Procurement Specialist.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by the Corporation.

Skills & Qualifications Required

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline, project management, construction management, or a similar field is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Minimum of 0-2 years of industry experience in project engineering, management, coordination, controls, or as a project management assistant on relevant projects.
  • Ability to read and understand engineered designs, P&ID's, construction designs, and project specifications.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in MS Project or a similar project management tool is required. f) Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail in drafting documents.
