The Role


Salary Range: $80-90K


In this role you will be hiring Masters Level Graduates from top schools to be hired within the Investment Banking Industry. This role will require working onsite at the client office in New York City 3-4 days a week and may increase to 5 days per week in summer. Some travel required mainly to schools within New York, Connecticut and Philadelphia.


This role supports hiring for the Investment Banking Division Associate Program hiring for Morgan Stanley. Masters Level Hiring.


About the team: In Early Careers & Campus team we deal with a high volume of applications and hires. As an AMS Campus Recruiter –you will work directly with the client, suppliers, and the Client Services teams. You will act as one of the main points of contact for all queries relating to the service provided and taking responsibility for the resolution of those queries to a satisfactory conclusion.


Skills & Experience


Client Stakeholder Relationships

  • Create and maintain trusted partner relationships with hiring managers/Talent Acquisition Managers. This includes being responsible for the end-to-end delivery of recruitment services to them, advising them on the recruitment process and ensuring that timelines are correctly identified and met
  • Inform attraction strategies, working with Sourcing and hiring managers to correctly identify approach based on market and hiring demands
  • Make recommendations for best fit and skills profile, coaching hiring managers on what may or may not be achievable


Internal Stakeholder Relationships

  • Monitor funnel metrics in partnership with Sourcing to ensure bottlenecks are identified and addressed ahead of time
  • Collaborate effectively with relevant teams, such as Sourcing and Administration teams to ensure a smooth client and candidate experience
  • Mentor supporting teams, such as Sourcing and Administration teams on best practice approaches and client culture, supporting them in achieving success in their roles


Recruitment Delivery

  • Ensure the recruitment service is delivered in line with contractual obligations and client service level agreements
  • Lead vacancy consultation discussions in partnership with the Sourcer to agree the recruitment plans with hiring managers– this includes role requirements, sourcing strategy, DEI requirements, pay range, agreed timeframes, responsibilities of all involved, and the selection process.
  • Collaborate with Sourcing team on the iterative process of narrowing down high-quality candidates and jointly review the shortlist with the hiring manager
  • Deliver excellent candidate experience in conjunction with the Sourcer; managing candidate satisfaction with the recruitment experience, from initial interview to start date
  • Support the hiring manager with hiring decisions and guide them in determining an appropriate offer
  • Manage the offer process and close the candidate
  • Proactively manage future demand by facilitating demand planning meetings to discuss forecasts with client resourcing lead team.
  • Where relevant support development of Assessment Centre plan
  • Implement Talent Pooling plan and report on progress regularly


Skills & Experience

  • 4 years Recruitment experience (2-5 years of Campus Recruiting in Banking, Financial Services, Consulting, Legal Services or similar industries is ideal including hiring from Masters Programs).
  • Investment Banking Division (IBD) Associate recruiting is a strong asset
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects with multiple priorities
  • Experience putting together Resume Bundles/Books
  • Experience with Resumes reviews and candidate screening
  • Experience working/communicating with high level stakeholders
  • Experience working assisting with campus hiring events (live and virtual)
  • Experience coordinating, collaborating and building relations with Colleges and Universities
  • Experience Strategizing and Prioritizing with Campus Team for upcoming events
  • Experience utilizing an ATS system, Linked In Recruiter and other tools (Handshake)
  • High proficiency in Excel
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office products)
