About the Role:


Job Title: Data Analyst


Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain complex data extracts using Python, SQL, Excel, and flat files (CSV, etc.), and send them to internal/external teams on a specific schedule.
  • Ingest data from various formats provided by internal teams/external vendors into our databases.
  • Automate data extract jobs and reports using Python scripts.
  • Support ad hoc requests from management for data analysis.
  • Create dashboards and reports using Power BI.
  • Collaborate with different teams across the organization to address data needs.
  • Re-engineer departmental data processes.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Python/Pandas, SQL, and automation.
  • Experience in operations: coding in Python and SQL, running, monitoring, automating, and overseeing data processing jobs.
  • Proficiency in data file/flat file parsing, ingesting data from flat files into databases, and sending data extracts in agreed formats to internal/external vendors.
  • Strong data analysis skills using Python/SQL on data stored in RDBMS like Oracle, Snowflake, Teradata, and SQL Server.
  • Ability to automate jobs and re-engineer data processes within the department.
  • Experience as an internal customer-facing lead/contributor.
  • Ability to navigate and identify organizational resources and subject matter experts in a decentralized organization.
  • Proficiency in creating Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Familiarity with healthcare domain data formats such as HL7 V2 and HL7 V3.
  • Ability to multitask on multiple projects simultaneously.

Location: California


Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $90000 – $100,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
