What You’ll Do:

  • Encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds to apply for grants.
  • Evaluate grant applications using inclusive and equitable criteria aligned with statutory and Departmental policies.
  • Formulate recommendations that prioritize funding opportunities for projects that benefit underserved communities and promote diversity in aviation.
  • Administer grants with a commitment to fairness and equity, ensuring transparent and inclusive processes.
  • Continuously monitor grant allowances to track expenditures, ensuring equitable distribution of funds and preventing underutilization.
  • Monitor infrastructure projects with a focus on their impact on marginalized communities, and produce reports that highlight both successes and areas for improvement.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment by coordinating administrative functions, seeking input from diverse stakeholders, and recommending improvements that align with changing aviation needs.
