We are looking for a Manager, Consumer Insights to join our growing Analytics, Insights & Measurement (AIM) team! We have an opportunity available on our Fashion Brands portfolio. The person in this role will be an embedded partner to Hasbro’s Global Play and Commercial teams who are responsible for brand and franchise strategies, entertainment development, product innovation, and go-to-market planning for existing and new brands. Possessing strong skills across primary research, secondary data analysis, and project management, you will work with AIM teammates to help develop learning agendas, manage research, and advocate for insight adoption with our business partners.
The person in this role is driven by a passion for kids’ brands, entertainment, and play paired with incessant curiosity about youth culture and fandoms! You will fearlessly share consumer truths, research, and insights with our partner teams to help them optimize decisions for portfolio growth.
This position can be located remotely on the East Coast.

A day in the life of a Manager Consumer Insights:
- Be a voice of the consumer for a portfolio of existing and new brands, using insights to influence strategies, experience and product development, and marketing planning.
- Working with your manager, prioritize business questions and requests for your portfolio across audience, category, brand, entertainment, product, creative, and commercial needs.
- Contribute to development of milestone-led insights agendas tied to strategic brand goals, development gates, and commercial sell-in.
- Capably run numerous strategic and tactical research projects at a time, using custom and standardized research approaches with a focus on brand tracking, product/package testing, volumetrics, media asset testing, and entertainment testing.
- Manage vendors throughout project execution, including design, data collection, analysis, reporting, and rollouts, coaching them to meet high standards.
- Provide storytelling and presentations with compelling “so whats” and actionable “now whats”, tailoring content to inform cross-functional team members’ decisions.
- Synthesize data across varied sources to answer business questions.
- Contribute to expansion of our Consumer Insights toolkit and vendor ecosystem by identifying new use cases and pilot opportunities.
- 7+ years in consumer insights or market research, preferably with experience in children or fan products, entertainment, and/or gaming.
- Experience with quantitative and qualitative insights methods and solution design, including multi-phased mixed method studies, product testing, volumetrics, and creative asset testing.
- Prior exposure to advanced analytics techniques – e.g., choice modeling, segmentation, driver analysis, price elasticity.
- Excellent prioritization and time management capabilities.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to tell compelling stories with data and insights.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools and navigating Power BI dashboards.
- BA/BS or equivalent experience required, preferably in social sciences, marketing/market research, or a related subject area. MBA, other advanced degree, or additional relevant education a plus.
