Superintendent
Job Duties: The primary purpose of the Project Manager is to provide overall direction of field operations and staff, training, supervising and mentoring to ensure quality work is performed and superior quality work product is attained. Ensures that the contracted scopes of work are fulfilled to the highest quality possible. Provide safety training, ensuring all field staff and trade partners are complying with OSHA standards. Identify and train new field staff. Success is defined as: A tech savvy motivated individual, natural problem solver, who is on-time & on-budget. Naturally exceeds expectations and takes pride in the quality of all things around. Experience with Core Plus is a huge plus.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Minimum of a High school diploma; bachelor’s degree strongly desired in Construction management, Business or Engineering.
Mandatory Experience/Background 1-5 years of superintendent experience in residential construction. Must have a valid driver’s license. Must be capable of working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, managing multiple priorities. Positive attitude, self-starter, quality values. Demonstrated competency with computer-based scheduling and project management software and systems, Core Plus will be required any working knowledge in that system is a huge plus. This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be capable of leading, managing and supervising construction field staff, including hiring, training and mentoring.
Desired Experience/Qualifications: Luxury building experience and working with high-end clientele. Core Plus, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Physical Requirements: May occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Must be able to drive/travel to different job sites. May occasionally climb a ladder. Must be able to proficiently manage time and schedules.
