🌟 Exciting News from Our KTP Journey! 🌟 As we approach the final stages of our ambitious 30-month project, 'Intelligent Digital Twin for Distribution,' I'm absolutely thrilled to share the significant strides we've made in transforming Direct Line Supplies Ltd.'s operational business processes. This project, funded by Innovate UK, represents a pioneering collaboration between Teesside University and Direct Line Supplies Ltd. 🔍 Project Overview: Our goal has been clear from the start: to achieve a holistic digitisation of all operational and decision-making processes. We've developed a robust Digital Twin that enhances evidence-based decision-making across all company functions by integrating cutting-edge AI and data science frameworks 💡 Key Achievements: - Agent-based procurement for supplier tendering - Advanced Stock Forecasting to satisfy customer demand - Pricing Optimisation to maintain competitiveness in the market - Vision-based system for monitoring warehouse activities - Integration of large language models (LLM) to enhance customer support - Intelligent logistics planner to optimise delivery efficiency 🤝 Team Effort: This project would not be possible without the dedication and expertise of our diverse team, including Pedram Salahshouri, Prof Farzad Pour Rahimian, Dr Diptangshu Pandit (Max), Dr. Mansoor Soomro, Dr Sina Joneidy, Barry Hebbron, and Gilly Hall. As we near the project's conclusion, the implications of our work on digital twinning and AI in logistics and supply chain management are profound.
