Semiconductors are going to be essential for Humanity, yet the semiconductor industry is at a crossroad, Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAs/"forever chemicals") are still one of many things that harms our environment but also important in manufacturing chips. I believe he is aware of it and so is the industry, and they are actively researching ways to find a PFAs-free alternative. However, it's clearly a tough challenge, which is why I believe his take on strong industry collaboration to solve pain points that is plaguing humanity and the planet, especially with the decade of Quantum Computing coming closer each year.
