#GenAI and #Crypto development seem to have some fundamental similarities. Both are witnessing a proliferation of infrastructure development - new models/platforms and layer 1/layer 2 blockchains. Though Crypto is more decentralized while GenAI is dominated by a few large tech companies with immense resources. Both are also facing the risk of oversupply of undifferentiated solutions, leading to an abundance of "useless capacity". In crypto, the oversupply is visible in the form of proliferation of cryptocurrencies, #NFT projects, #DeFi platforms, etc. In GenAI, the oversupply is in the form of multitude of AI solutions (writing assistants, image generators, chatbots) offering similar capabilities. #productmanagement

Users don't understand the technicalities of how a LLM works, and expect the result to be factually correct. But glad to see ChatGPT is trying to manage expectations with such a disclaimer. Transparency isn't buried in fine print—it's front and center. #Fintech could take a page from this playbook. Imagine the following messages celebrated across the product : "We're a tech company partnering with banks, not a bank ourselves" "Your balance is checked daily against our partner bank's records" --- 💡 Taking cue from the the latest Synapse and Evolve Bank & Trust saga. "We comply with AML and BSA regulations to keep your money safe" The Jeeves product consider being transparent with our users a core principle.

Expense Management: The Next Frontier! 🚀 Finance teams are enjoying a wave of innovation with incredible tools like Jeeves, working tirelessly to digitize every expense policy. But wait, why does companies have policies to control only the obvious visible expenses - software, travel, etc. What about the hidden costs that drain productivity and profitability?💡 Picture this: An expense policy for every meeting with more than 10 people. Yes, you heard it right! Attendees get to review the expense post-meeting, and if it’s flagged as unnecessary, the next meeting gets the red light! :) We may not be far away from companies codifying productivity policies and building a culture around that :) #ExpenseManagement #FinanceInnovation #Productivity

My favourite read from last week was Sarah Hinkfuss' article on the terminology to differentiate levels of AI - https://lnkd.in/gw45HeHr . It gave me a framework to think about AI capabilities, which I tried here in the context of Financial Services. Appreciate feedback. #ProductManagement #FinTech #AI

🎉 Hey everyone! I'm super excited to share something fun I've been tinkering with — Math Magic Parent GPT! 🎉 🤖 What's Math Magic Parent? Do you ever find it tough to come up with a math question for your kids that's not only educational but also fun? Have they ever complained that the problems are just too boring or too complex? That's what gave me the inspiration to create Math Magic Parent. It turns math into a thrilling game tailored just right for your child's level. 🔗 Check it out here: https://lnkd.in/gemhXTgB 🎯 Who is this for? It's perfect for parents with kids aged 5-8 who are eager to make math a fun and engaging part of family time. ➡ What it does: Math Magic Parent churns out math questions that are engaging and personalizes them to fit your child's learning pace. Let the GPT know you got it right and it will adjust the level. 🔧 How to Use It: Simply input a theme or topic that your child is interested in. For example, today my 6-year-old asked for a problem involving Chelsea Football Club where #ColePalmer scored! Just type in the scenario, and it will create a math problem. 🔄 Help Improve with Your Feedback: I'm eager to hear how it blends into your learning routine at home and any suggestions you might have for enhancing it. #gptbuilder #kids #maths

Fintech PMs can so easily be seen as pessimists shooting down that new cool idea - launching a faster money movement method, or a new credit product, or many other things dependent on compliance, regulation, capital, risk, etc etc etc 💼💡 But I've been blessed to see teams that complement that pessimism with an optimistic drive for action! 🚀 They're fueled by the problem and the determination to keep trying until they find something that can (in)validate the problem. This optimistic pessimism? It could drive the most important thing - results 🌟 #Fintech #ProductManagement
